Hey friends...........
Thanks for checking in to read the THOUGHTS of SR! It's been a while since we last wrote on this page... so let's bring you up to speed.
We've played several electric shows over the past 2 months and things have been rockin'! The new tunes and revamped older SR tunes are offering the listener a different vibe from the former SR style. It's definitely a bit "heavier" yet still filled with memorable melodies.
Being a "power trio" allows each member to express themselves in a new way. There's more "space" to fill... we're appreciating the value of such!
There's a new CD in the planning stages. We're scheduled to head into the studio in January to record a 4 or 5 song EP. We're psyched to share the sound with YOU. So we'll be sure to update this page as we work towards the goal of a mid-2007 release!
As the year comes to an end we'd like to thank all our friends who have stuck by our side through massive changes. It has definitely been a "starting over" experience, but those who have remained loyal have made the experience priceless!
Much thanks to some of our near and dear friends in "the biz". Bands such as Echofission; Particle Zoo; and Mike Ferraro & the Young Republicans (just to name a few) have been tremendous show comrades! Our former member Jonathan Andrew has been a huge moral supporter and we thank him for such!
Lazlo and Naomi from BlowUpRadio.com have not wavered from their support of SR. And neither has Jared Migden of WRSU 88.7FM. Much thanks to those fine folks!
There are so many more to mention... but it's impossible to do so right now. Old friends and new... we thank you dearly for making 2006 a memorable year!
