Greetings beautiful people! We appreciate you taking the time to check out our website. It seems that spring is finally here. Baseball games are on, the days are getting longer, and women are wearing less clothing. This is a wonderful time of year! It’s also a very busy time for SR, so here’s a look at what’s going on.

We have begun the post-production phase of our soon to be released, full length album!! The album is TENTATIVELY titled “Through the Feeling” and will feature ten original songs… many of which have recently become favorites at our live shows! The recording experience was extremely educational for us as individuals and as a band. More importantly, it was a hell of a lot of fun! We’re shooting for a September release. So stay tuned over the next few months as the details of the CD release start to trickle in.

As if the recording process wasn’t keeping us busy enough, we journeyed to Louisville, KY and Detroit, MI on April 15th and 16th (respectively) for a couple of shows in two of our favorite cities away from home. We’d like to take this opportunity to say “thank you” to all of our friends and supporters in those cities for helping complete yet another successful road trip. We always love visiting and partying with you folks and we can’t wait to do so again. A very special “thanks” goes to our friend Amanda McClintock for helping arrange our visit to “The D” and for helping sell a crazy amount of T-Shirts and CD’s! YOU ROCK!!!

Last Friday, we returned to our home base, The Loop Lounge in Passaic Park, NJ for a great night of rock & roll. The night featured an incredibly courageous performance by Jeff and Kwaku from the NYC based band, Brothers Of Industry. Earlier in the week they had learned that their lead guitarist was ill and would not be able to make the show. Instead of canceling the performance, the duo decided to take on the challenge of playing the Loop Lounge (known for hosting some of the biggest and loudest rock shows in Northern NJ) with just an acoustic guitar and a Djembe. Their set (which also happened to be their first performance in NJ) was amazing! We always have a good time playing with these cats, and will look forward to sharing a bill again in the near future.

We then followed B.O.I with a punchy set of our own, which featured two new original songs (“This Time” and “Beautiful Loser”) as well as our new cover of the Led Zeppelin classic, “The Rover”. As always we had a blast on stage and hanging out with you. You certainly reminded us that while the road can be a great time, there is nothing like playing to an enthusiastic hometown crowd!

The evening was capped off by a blistering set from Echofission! We may be a little biased, but our favorite part of the set was when SR bassist, Jon Andrew, got on stage to jam with the band! In all seriousness, this band always delivers and their fan base is amazing. We’ll play with these guys whenever and wherever we can!

The month of May will primarily feature shows away from home. The highlight of the month will undoubtedly come when we perform at the new Grape Steet Philadelphia, in Philadelphia PA! While we have performed in Philly several times, this will by far be our most significant show in the “City of Brotherly Love”! SO to all of our friends in the South Jersey/Philly area: Mark your calendar for Wednesday, May 18 at 9:00 PM! We plan to rock you and then send you home in time to catch the evening news! Please visit our “SHOWS” page for more details on this performance as well as our other shows throughout the month of May!

That’s about all for now. Thank you all for your continued support! We looking forward to bringing you more news soon. Even more so, we look forward to hangin’ with you at a show.

Until next time, continue to take care of each other.

Peace!
Sean, Jon, Nick, & Joshua
