2005-03-30 - 3:08 p.m. Welcome friends, fans and loved ones to another chapter of the Souls’ Release saga! This is Jon Andrew, here to offer some insight into what’s been going on in the world of SR. Since the last update, we’ve played two amazing shows. On March 16th, Souls’ Release made its debut at the prestigious Maxwell’s in Hoboken. This venue is widely regarded as one of the best rooms for original rock music on the east coast, so it was an honor and a pleasure to headline our first show there. And thanks to our many friends and supporters, we played to a packed house on this very important night. Special thanks to Ivy for booking us at this excellent event. Check out her site –– www.artkore.org –– for the scoop on the Hoboken arts and music scene. This past Friday night, we returned to Krogh’s in Sparta for a huge night of rock. Krogh’s has been a regular stop on the SR itinerary over the past year, as we always enjoy playing there. Souls’ Release held the floor all night long, playing three full sets. Many friends stopped by to check out the action and enjoy some custom-brewed Krogh’s beer. Thanks to Bruno and the Krogh’s staff for having us back. We’d like to extend a huge “thank you” to everyone who came out to these two shows. On each occasion, we played to a large and boisterous crowd. We know that without your support we wouldn’t be doing this. So thanks again. In studio news, we’ve continued recording our debut full-length CD over the past several weeks, and we’ve made great strides. We should wrap tracking by the end of the month and then proceed to mixing, mastering, and packaging. Although the recording process has been protracted, we assure you that an excellent finished product will be in your hands this summer or fall. Looking forward, Souls’ Release returns to Tribeca Rock Club in Manhattan this coming Saturday, April 2nd. This venue was the site of SR’s wildly successful CD release show back in December, and we expect this Saturday to be a blast as well. SR is scheduled to perform at 9:30. See the “Shows” page for more information on this special event. Thanks for checking in with SR. We appreciate your support. And we hope to see you soon! Rock,
