Hey everyone! This is Joshua here, bringing you the latest and greatest from the world of SR!!!! There’s much to tell you about, so let’s just jump right into it.
For starters, I want to say “thanx” to everyone who came out to our two shows last weekend. The first of those two shows took place at the Shannon Lounge in the great city of Hoboken, NJ. This was truly a special night for the guys and me. It was just one of those occasions on which everything came together for us. Our brothers of indie rock, Butterspy opened the night with their psychedelic pop/ rock. Those guys just keep getting better every time we see them! By the way, we’ll be performing with these guys again next month!
By the time we took the stage, around 11:00 PM, the room had filled up with old and new friends. It seemed as if there was not an ounce of negativity in the room...we were definitely feeling the vibe! That positive energy fueled what we all believe may have been our best set ever. We felt real tight and there was nothing but smiles in the room. It was great being able to connect with so many of you that night. Again, we thank you for coming out and showing your love!
After the set we hung around and partied with many of you. Anyone who has ever hung out with us at shows will tell you that we enjoy chilling with our friends and fans just as much as we love to perform! Overall, it was just an incredibly fun night.
The next afternoon, we trekked out to western New Jersey to perform at Clinton Township’s OKTOBERFEST! We’ve performed in the Clinton area 5 times in the last year, and every time we go back we see more people coming out to support us! We always seem to make new friends out there. Our experience was no different this past weekend. There are few things better in life than hanging out listening to great live music in the crisp autumn air while drinking warm apple cider. Ok…so it wasn’t cider…it was beer and shots! Thanks again to every one who came out, bought t-shirts, supported and partied with us!
We have three Great shows lined up for this weekend, starting tonight in East Stroudsburg, PA. We’ll be making our debut at a great venue called The Sarah Street Grill. Tomorrow night we return to John & Peter’s in New Hope, PA. Then, on Sunday, we head out to Long Island, NY to headline the Oyster Bay Festival.
All three shows promise to be amazing events! So if you know someone in these areas, I think it’s time for you to go visit them and then bring them out for a great evening or afternoon of rock music. For more details on these performances, check out our “SHOWS” page.
