2004-07-14 - 9:47 a.m. Hey everyone. As always we thank you for stopping by the official Souls’ Release website to see what’s new. As many of you know, we are still flying high from a short but sweet appearance at the 8th Annual Black Potatoe Music Festival in Clinton, NJ this past weekend. It was a great setting on a perfect summer day to hear so many talented musicians displaying their gift in the open air. Special thanks to the Red Mill Museum staff, Atomic Productions, Black Potatoe Records, Matt Angus, Jack Devaney, and the festival staff. They all worked together to pull off yet another successful festival. We also want to send a very special thank you to our friends/fans and loved ones, many whom traveled a great distance to see us rock out in the afternoon sunshine! Hey, did you catch SR’s new drummer, Sean Calcamuggio? Can this guy play or what? If you missed his debut performance, be sure to catch a show soon. Sean has clearly fit right in with the rest of the guys and the results are undeniable!! You can now find pictures of the new lineup all over our site. So, take a moment and be sure to check out all that is new! Here is some cool news.... SR has been accepted into the IceHouse Rock the Boat contest. On-line voting will carry a 25% weight in determining the top bands. Voting will be held from July 14th through July 30th. You can vote up to 3x per day... everyday!! As you can see.... we NEED your help. So please go to IceHouse.com starting THIS Wednesday, July 14th and begin casting your votes to help SR. Also... please email people that you feel would assist Souls' Release in this voting process. We truly thank you for your support!! Check back soon as we’ll be announcing more tour dates for summer 2004 and beyond. Also, stay tuned for details about the release of our forthcoming EP, due out early fall. Again we thank you for your continued support. We look forward to seeing YOU soon! Take care of each other, Sean, Jon, Nick & Joshua Souls’ Release
