What's happening, beautiful people? We come to you from the rainy Northeast with a lot of exciting news about SR!
First of all, if you haven't done so yet, stop right now and take a moment to check out our "VISUAL" page. We've completely revamped this section of our site to include three galleries:
SR LIVE: This gallery features some amazing live performance shots from various venues all over the country.
SR CANDID: In the "Candid" gallery we give you a glimpse into our lives by showing you shots of us in the studio or just hanging out.
FRIENDS OF SR: Our personal favorite... this gallery features people like YOU hanging out and having a good time at SR shows!
All galleries will be updated periodically (especially the Friends gallery). So be sure to check this section often to see if you've made it onto our site, as well as to look for updated photos of the band.
Last Wednesday, SR performed what has become a rare acoustic set at Rodeo Ristra in Hoboken, NJ. The show was hosted by Lazlo of WWW.BLOWUPRADIO.COM. It boasted performances by old friends Jon Taglieri and Jon Dacks as well as our new friend Tommy Anton. Special thanks to Lazlo and the kind folks at Rodeo Ristra for giving us the opportunity to step back from the big rock machine that SR has become and get back to the intimacy of acoustic performing. We had a great time!
The following night we were the guests of WRSU Music Director, Jared Migden, as we performed at a special show at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ! THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO CAME OUT TO MAKE THIS AN AMAZING NIGHT! You helped us transform a student center cafe into a bonafide rock venue! Although we took the stage nearly an hour behind schedule, you stuck with us and matched every ounce of energy that we had. It was simply intense... an experience that never gets old for us! Tris McCall, Skyline Rodeo, and Palomar shared the bill with us at RU and all had great sets as well. Much respect to Jared Migden for putting together an outstanding line up and for continuing to be one of SR's most loyal supporters!
This week, SR will be out on a Mini-Tour which kicks off Wednesday night in Pattenburg, NJ. We'll resume on Friday night in Philadelphia, PA and then cap it off with a performance in our nation's capital on Saturday. So if you're within driving distance or you know someone who is… please tell them to come out and enjoy a good evening of rock music.
