Greetings beautiful people! Thank you for taking some time out to check up on Souls' Release!
SR closed out the cold month of February by embarking on a "mini-tour" that brought us to Cleveland, Louisville and Detroit! Despite all three of us fighting off coughs & colds, all three shows were highly successful. We want to thank our peeps in all of these cities for helping us promote the shows as well as coming out to the venues to support us. For us, there's nothing cooler than showing up at a club and finding friendly faces wearing SR T-Shirts waiting there to greet us!
To those of you who were back home or couldn't make it out... you missed some great acoustic rock shows and some crazy partying! Thanks again guys & gals of the Mid -West. We had an awesome time. We're going to do our best to get out there again real soon. Until then please keep spreading the good word about SR.
NEW MEMBER!!!!!!!
We are very proud to announce that bassist Jon Andrew has joined Souls' Release. Jon completes our line up with his smooth bass style, amazing harmonies and a vibe that was just so perfect, we knew he was the guy from nearly the moment we began to play our instruments together. In the coming weeks we'll continue to add more information on Jon to the site so that you can check him out and maybe even drop him a line.
For the last 9 months SR has been working really hard on writing and recording new material. We've gone on several mini-tours while playing a fair amount of cool local venues too. However, March 2004 will easily be the most significant month of our short history. On Friday, March 26, Souls' Release will perform for the first time with our complete, electric line up!!!! All we can say is that if you thought our acoustic sets were good, brace yourself... you ain't seen nothing yet!! This is what we in the band have been dreaming about since day one. So mark your calendar with a big SR. We want to see as many of you as possible there sharing this amazing night of Rock & Roll with us.
